Detecting a change to a input field, live

Hi, can one detect if an input field’s contents changes without the user clicking away from it? The element action “an input value is changed” can’t be used.

I need to show a button when the value changes, as the user edits.

Consider using one of the instant text plugins with a workflow that sets a custom state when the input is focused and when the instant text count is higher or lower, show the button.
