Email is in use when user login with a username and password then later tries to login with Linkedin which uses that same email address

Okay so i have 2 logins/signups

  1. the normal one with username, email, password
  2. the linkedin one

my problem is that when a user sign up with 1, then later tries to sign up with 2 when his linkedin email is the same as the one he uses in 1, it doesn’t work

i don’t want to replace the account he made with 1 entirely

i just need to get data from his Linkedin account and update info on his existing account

PLEASE HELP OH GOD

Then don’t bother with using the linkedin plugin for login/signup and instead use a plugin or connect directly to the linkedin API to allow the user to grant access to their linkedin account for your app
