Hi everyone,
Rutvij here from the Product Marketing team. Today, we’re excited to launch a way for plugin developers to better understand sales, retention, and churn for their plugins.
We’ve added a new column in the CSV export of your sales data that shows a customer ID for plugin subscription transactions. We’ve done this in a way that masks their Stripe billing ID, so there’s no personally identifiable information (PII) being shared.
This data is backfilled for the history of your plugin, so you’ll be able to analyze retention and churn across time. We know this is something a few of you have asked for — and now we hope that it enables you to have a good sense of your business health month-to-month.
Download your latest sales data to see it in action. Thank you to the users who submitted this idea through the ideaboard or brought this up as a pain point that needed solving.
Let us know if you have any questions!

How do we download the data? I don’t see any button in the account from the link you shared that would be for downloading sales data.

I also have no idea where to download this data.
Anyway, it’s great to see some improvements on this area. Related, is there a way for a plugin maker to get list of all the apps that use my plugin?
@rico.trevisan @boston85719 if you go to:
Marketplace → Sales → Payouts and click the 3-dot menu you can download a CSV that will have a unique ID for each customer (for subscriptions):
+1 for this!

@rutvij.bhise please replace the unique id of the plugin with the plugin name…there is no way for us to discern which plugin the unique id belongs to and so would be more appropriate to export the name of the plugin rather than the unique ID
Also, please add information that would pertain to the removal or cancellation of the plugin subscription so that we can track expected earnings better
In the account area please add discernable information to the payout card to help us distinguish between payouts for templates, plugins or coaching sessions so we can more easily download what we are wanting to download.
Thanks @alexcooney5 looks like they added that sometime after I pressed everything to try and find the download area.
