[Feature Request] - Hosting files in the root directory

Hello,

I’m hoping to integrate Apple Pay feature through Stripe, which requires us to upload a domain association file and host it at /.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association

I’m able to upload files to https://example.com/ but currently not able to upload to https://example.com/.well-know/.

@emmanuel is this something that can be implemented? I think many people would benefit from being able to add Apple Pay support. Thanks!

More details at https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button

Hosting in root is already available. Go to settings>SEO>Scroll to bottom

I can’t seem to find a way to create a sub directory under root directory though, would you happen to know how?

@Bubble @emmanuel Can hosting files in the root directory at a sub level be something that can be implemented?

Looking to host a file in https://example.com/.well-know/

We already support this, see the metatag section of the settings tab

@emmanuel

Is there a way to add the file to a subfolder like /folder/test001.txt ?
It let me enter: /folder/test001.txt as file name but
…com/version-test/folder/test001.txt returns a 404 error.

This is required to build support for Apple Pay on Safari.

Thanks!
Michael

Sure this has been figured out already but just for anyone else (like me) stumbling across this, I hadn’t realised that you specify the folder name like this:

Also trying to upload under .well-known/assetlinks.json for app publishing… what’s the syntax or way to have a subfolder?

hello, it seems the file now has magically appeared under https//domain/.well-known/assetlinks.json

Is this supported now? It wasnt before AFAIK… please confirm :innocent:

Does anyone know how to make Applepay - Stripe work?

I already uploaded the file, published the version live, went to stripe, and do the verification of the domain, but nothing, still a 404 error.

Thank you!
