Filer using OR not AND

Need help

Hi,
I’m trying to filter by two fields where if either condition is true (see attached).
As it stands the filter is cumulative i.e. AND.
How do I filter by OR?

(do a search for: SME = yes) merge with (do a search for: dept Manager isn’t empty)
