Hiring an SEO specialist, is it worth it?

I’m curious to hear from folks working on smaller, cost-sensitive apps. What have your experiences been with hiring SEO specialists, especially on Fiverr or Upwork?

I’m a bit unclear what someone like this would even do, other than set up low-worth backlinks. Any input would be very helpful!

You can do-it-yourself SEO with Bubble if you are willing to do the work. It is one of the forum’s favourite subjects

Do your own forum searches but for example …

and many more …

It is worth if you agree with said specialist that invoicing will only be based on a percentage of the ROAS.

Unless you find someone who really understands SEO with bubble, probably not worth the cost.

Thanks, I appreciate the links I hadn’t come across these before.

Real SEO experts might be worth it as they won’t just setup the on page SEO (that’s easy), but they will guide you on types of content that rank well, keep you up to date with changes to Google algorithm etc.

Because of AI no longer do ‘how to’ blog articles rank well because anybody can create them with AI.
