How do i make a pop up?

Hello , i am extremely new to this. I was wondering how i would be able to click a button and cause a custom pop up to appear. Would this be possible to do?

You mean, like, the popup tool?

This is the idea. The user clicks ( something ) and a pop up appears where they can write something.

Create the popup with the popup tool.

Create a workflow, then go to Element Actions>Show. Select your popup.

Hey @pier2design, thanks for helping with this!

When you build popups, do you find it best to build the popup on a new, separate page OR do you build it on top of the design where the pop up will live?

I ask because building it on top of the base design is distracting (Iā€™m new so I could be doing it incorrectly).

Hi @arttwork , as per my short experience, building the popup in the same page on top of the design is more logical and easier to maintain. That way, all page logic/workflow can be found at the same place.
This is how i think about it.
