For some reason all my icons are showing as a text. I tried chaning browsers but still couldn’t fix the problem.

I had someone ask me about this recently as well. I couldn’t find a way to reproduce the situation (though we were both using Chrome), as material icons were/are showing fine on my end. I would file a bug report about this with your app if you can:
