Input checkbox validation - must not be empty (not working)

Hi gang. Is there a known bug or quirk with the checkbox input’s setting for “This checkbox should be checked?” When I use that setting on text fields, I get the red border and tooltip guidance. But my checkbox gets no such treatment and I’m able to check a button I shouldn’t be able to, i.e. the workflow proceeds. Any thoughts? Things to check? Thanks!

Hi there, @ThatFizzGuy… it’s not really possible to know what’s going on without knowing how you are using the checkbox, but give this thread a look and see if it helps.

Problem is that due to legal circumstances, the user needs to tick the box (it basically says “I have taken notice of the privacy policy”). Thanks @mikeloc. I’ve got it working now. I’m not convinced there isn’t a bug in there somewhere, as I’m sure I tried the combination of settings and checks I have now, but it’s working now so I’m movin’ on…
