I cant seem to get this working using the basic instagram plugin. It says redirect uri invalid. Is there a way to pull all media of a user without authentication?

There are two separate plugins instagram graph & instagram basic.

Iā€™m waiting for response from support to allow exchanging long lived tokens on the basic plugin, so use graph for now.

The authentication flow on basic is working fine, perhaps you havent added the correct redirect url in your facebook developer console?

Hi, Im wondering how can i just authenticate user with instagram so that i know he owns the instagram username he is using? I dont need to get any other data at this point.

Hi, @Taiheta. Sorry for pinging you so many times on this thread. Iā€™ve nearly figured this out. I set up my FB app, configured my redirect URLā€™s and signed in successfully as a test user. I have a few remaining (possibly ignorant) questions, though.

  1. First, I was hoping you could clarify how access tokens are handled in this plugin. I know they arenā€™t saved to the DB, but I seem to be able to access them through the plugin.
  2. With this plugin, am I able to perform API calls on behalf of authorized users even when they arenā€™t signed in to my application. For instance, assuming a user has granted me the necessary permissions, could I set up an API workflow to catch a webhook payload and perform some action on their behalf?
  3. Can this plugin be used to manage multiple IG business or creator accounts for a given user? Since the login action redirects to Facebookā€™s hosted authorization flow, what happens if they authorize multiple IG accounts? How do I know to which IG accounts Iā€™ve been granted access?

Can these font generators be used for any social media channel? I think you cannot change the font on Facebook, (https://fontsprokeyboard.com/type-with-your-top-10-iphone-keyboards-instead-of-copypaste). Maybe there are some settings on your page, but I failed to find them. I have heard that Instagram added new fonts to their settings. But I think you cannot just use font generator everywhere. Please correct me, if I am wrong.

Hello sorry for the delay in response, iā€™m not using bubble anymore or supporting this plugin.

Bubble should build a native Instagram plugin to handle the token refresh or improve their api connector to allow for refresh endpoint, make your lives easier.

Hi,

Plugin is working for me as well. Im just curious, is there a way to pull comments that mention you?

Iā€™ve tried the tag feature, but it only seems to pull in pictures that you are tagged in.

OK, so this plugin is not available any more, but does anyone know what is happening with the official Bubble Instagram plugin? There are no instructions. The link to the service page just goes to Instagram.com
