Hi everyone 
I’m currently building an online marketplace for Barbers & Hairdressers to sign up individually or as a salon/shop, build a profile for themselves/team & enter their availability through using a built-in calendar in which they’ll click a date then time slots will appear underneath and they can choose their time slots where they are available for each stylist.
Now when a user looking for a barber or hairdresser’s service jumps onto the website/app, they’ll click on a stylist/salon/shop’s profile that takes their fancy, choose a service they’re wanting from the stylist and then BOOK using the calendar and available time slots (that the stylist has pre-chosen). They will then confirm the booking with payment which at this point it will shoot the booking off to the stylist. <-- This is where my question comes in…
My question is:
- When the BOOKING gets pushed off to the stylist/salon/shop or, if the stylist/salon/shop makes a booking from their own end (phone booking, walk-in, etc), is there any software/plugin/api/etc that will integrate my booking system with stylist’s original POS (point of sale) systems?
eg: If a stylist enters a booking into their original POS system from a customer via a walk-in, it will automatically update and remove the associated stylist’s availability slot that customers on my website/app can choose from so there are no double bookings and also vice-versa: if a booking is made on my website/app from a customer, it will automatically update the stylist’s POS system so they are notified of the booking and so there are no double bookings/time clashes.
I know there is ‘Timely’ which has now partnered with ‘Vend’ which could do the job but I believe this only will support the one system; limiting a lot of my potential customers?
If anyone knows if this can be implemented somehow, even if I have to get it custom made some insight into how/who could pull this off would be greatly appreciated
