Looking for work, 6 years of Bubbling

20-25h/week
From scratch or Working app, Maintenance
Ideally long-term, but project-based is ok as well.

Portfolio on request.

I have my own app https://revulet.finance/
With paying clients, but we will need to slightly iterate and rebuild it, still checking to stay with Bubble, or using Vibe coding.

Regards

Best way to get work is to not say you’re broke

Clients care about the value you deliver. ‘I’m broke’ is unfortunately a negative signal (why would they trust you with their project that needs to make them money).

So, consider your experience (fintech) and how you might deliver value there, and work will come!

I agree with @georgecollier

I clicked on the post link to make sure I understood correctly its title. Mentioning that you’re broke doesn’t give you any negotiation advantage plus it sends a negative message that you need work badly. I don’t think it helps you by any means.

Saying you’re broke is definitely not the best approach. How have you been looking for new opportunities?

You actually have a lot going for you.
Six years of Bubble experience is huge and on top of that, you have something companies really value: entrepreneurial spirit.
You’ve already tried to build your own app and even better, a fintech app, which tends to be much more complex than a regular one.

In my case, my first “big” Bubble contract came exactly because of that. I had also tried to launch my own app, and it gained some traction.
That entrepreneurial experience ended up being worth more than any client projects I had built before.

So in your case, that’s actually a strong advantage, make sure to highlight it.

Don’t give up. And if you ever need help, we’re here for that!

Have you tried using platforms like Upwork or Fiverr? Also, when you’re looking for work, make sure to share your portfolio so people can see what you’ve done.

Wow, a huge thanks for the feedback!
Will edit it.
It’s just how I am, joking and honest

It’s not so bad, actually, the app is making a few grants enough for living.
I’ve used Upwork before, but because I’m not active there, for the last year from Top rated plus, went down to 80%.

Freelance money helps to move my own apps to the next step.
