Hi @levon! Great plugin, however I can’t save the recording to DB. I tried all options, plugin version etc. I study your app with this feature and still no luck. All actions works but when video is stopped the recording status does not change to “Upload finished successful“ but it’s stucked on “stopped” The video url is also empty. I tried multiple browsers as well.

I understand that video recording will not start until screen is shared. Saving to device is working and preview also working fine.

What I’m missing?

Thanks for your patience!
After reviewing the behavior with our dev team, we’ve identified that the “Save to Bubble” functionality was intentionally disabled on our demo for testing purposes - that’s why the recording wasn’t being saved to the database.

To enable saving in your own app, please make sure the “Save to Bubble” field is set to “yes” in the Start Recording action, as shown in the screenshot below:

Once this option is enabled, the plugin will automatically upload the video to your Bubble storage when the recording finishes.

Please give it a try and let us know if it works as expected now.

We wanted to check whether you were able to set “Save to Bubble” = yes in the Start Recording action (as shown in our previous message) and whether the recording uploaded to your Bubble storage after that.

Actions we took / suggested:

  • Noted that the demo had saving intentionally disabled for testing.
  • Asked you to enable Save to Bubble = yes in your app’s Start Recording action.

If it’s still not working, please do one of the following so we can investigate:

  • Send a screenshot of your Start Recording action showing the Save to Bubble field, or
  • Share a short Loom demonstrating the behavior, or
  • Provide an editor/test page link or temporary collaboration access so we can check the setup directly.

We’ll take it from there as soon as you share the details.

Hi Team! Just now I made it to work! What was missing on my setup was (i think) is stop sharing screen action and instead I jumped straight to stop recording and that was bit misleading. I will do some tests and record a few videos and circle back.

QQ - what should be codec to replay the video with timecode? Im also using your plugin advance video player but it thinks the video is live and I cannot move playhead around. I used some free plug-in to record my screen without codec setup option.

It was working for a bit but I never get audio to work (perm granted) and it stopped saving to bubble again.
Sharing microphone was NO all the time. I tried multiple setting, clearing browser etc.

This should not be that hard friends.

Thanks for the update and for testing it further - great to hear you made progress earlier!

Regarding the audio issue, it’s not related to the microphone input. To capture the sound of your Loom-like screen recording, please make sure the “Record System Audio” option is enabled in your setup (as shown in the screenshot below).

We’ve rechecked on our end, and the plugin is functioning as expected - enabling “Record System Audio” should ensure the captured video includes sound.
