Has anyone built a chat tool in Bubble? if so, how is the performance? did you use Bubble database or 3rd party API or plugin?
I’m planning on building one soon, so would love to know your experience before I dive in.

Hi, i think bubble is suitable for making a decent messaging/chat platform without any third party software.
If you would like to anchor to last message in repeating group this plugin is useful:
But you can do it with scroll to last item, although can be an issue with stretch to fit html cells.

Bubble can build a message system that works really well. I’ve constructed a few for my apps. Probably the best I’ve seen though is this one:
