MUCH SLOWER "Animate Collapse" in New Responsive Editor?

Hey Bubblers!

I have two apps.

One with the old editor and one with the new.

Both have sidebars with sub menus with identical design. eg…

I have the following IDENTICAL selections for both

In both apps, you click the upper menu to reveal the sub menu. Pretty straightforward.

However, in the old app running the old editor, the animation is super fast! Its nice. Probably around 200ms

But in the new editor the animation speed is significantly slower. Prob around 800ms.

I can’t figure out how to change that…

Any ideas? Glitch? Something else?

ALSO… when is “Horizontal” collapse and animation coming? “Animate” workflow step jumps the adjacent group to the side rather than smoothly move it.

I can CONFIRM it has to do with the new editor.

I duplicated the old page with the fast animation and upgraded to the new responsive editor and the same transition is now slow.

Any thoughts appreciated!

I’m also experiencing this issue. Will file a report as it makes the app feel slow. This seems to be most painful with nested containers

same here. would love to use slide but, sticking to non-animated for now.
