Building with MailCanvas is incredibly smooth:

  1. Design: Your user edits their email template in the visual canvas.

  2. Export: Click a button to run Generate Export. This outputs the clean HTML markup and structural JSON.

  3. Inject Data (Pro): Run our lightning-fast Inject Placeholders (Pro) backend action. Pass your keys (e.g., {name}|{amount}) and values (e.g., John| $29.00) using a custom separator like |.

  4. Send: Take the final rendered_html and feed it directly into your preferred transactional email API (MailerSend, SendGrid, Postmark).

:light_bulb:Tip for Deliverability: When sending raw HTML strings through your API Connector, always append Bubble’s native :formatted as JSON-safe modifier to prevent any messy text formatting or quotation marks from breaking your API payload structure!
