Thanks for your question and for sharing your use case!

There’s no workflow action or plugin method to automatically reset the uploader or hide previews after upload. All exposed actions and states are listed in the docs, and none are for clearing/hiding previews.
Additionally, there are no settings and options that would allow simply disabling or hiding the default previews while keeping uploads.

Custom Previews & Hiding the Plugin:
Since you’re already showing your own custom preview, the best workaround is to place the File Uploader Pro element inside a group. Once all files have been uploaded, you can hide this group (using a workflow or condition), so the plugin’s built-in previews disappear, leaving only your custom preview visible. This approach isn’t a built-in feature of the plugin, but it should let you control what’s displayed on your page.

Feature Suggestion:
This is actually a great suggestion, and I can see how having a direct option to reset or hide the native photo previews would be useful for many users! I’ll pass your feedback along to our developer team so they can consider it for future updates.

Just wanted to let you know we’ve released a new version of the plugin (v1.12.0) with two new options: Auto Reset Uploader and Hide File Previews. Both are now available as checkboxes in the plugin element’s settings. Auto Reset will clear the uploader automatically after a file upload (with a fixed 2-second delay for now), and Hide File Previews will remove the built-in previews after upload, so your users won’t see them if you don’t want them to.

For now, the reset action is only available as a checkbox with a built-in delay, but in the future, we plan to rework this feature and add it as a separate workflow action for more control. We don’t have an ETA for that yet, but your feedback definitely helps us prioritize improvements.
