On popup close event workflow not working

Hello,

I tried to add a workflow that runs when a popup is closed, and I was delighted to find that the functionality already existed in bubble. The documentation for this event says “This event is triggered when a popup closes, either through a ‘Hide element’ action or when the user presses Esc.” Unfortunately I can not get the workflow to run no matter which way I close the popup. I’ve also run it using the debugger, and it appears like my website never even looks at the workflow. If I’m simply misunderstanding how to use this, please let me know. Also if anyone knows a workaround for the short term, that would be very helpful.

Once upon a time (maybe a year ago) there was a bug with this action not working but it was fixed after a week or two.

I know about it because it affected my app hardcore and caused massive headaches while I figured out workarounds.

Please submit a bug report to Bubble if it’s not working for you! Best way to verify if it’s truly not working is to create a new free Bubble app with nothing in it that tests ONLY this function to see if you can repeat the problem, then pass that along in your bug report to show exactly how you can demonstrate the problem.
