Sorry for the delay, we are currently fully focused on openbuild 2.0, which caused some conflicts with the current extension. However, we pushed a fix so you should be able to access it now.
Hi! @vincent56 or anyone else could help me? I added the OpenBuild.io extension but I can’t use it. When I try to ‘Add as a collaborator’ the button ‘Check’ doesn’t work. I use a Free version of Bubble. Is the problem in that? Do I need to buy a Professional Plan to continue work and use OpenBuild? Monosnap
At this point it’s not clear whether OpenBuild will be able to regain their once mighty place in the Bubble universe as rising competitors such as Frames, Atomic Fusion, Interfaces and others have quickly replaced them in the eyes of the modern Bubble user.
To add insult to injury, even the mighty stalwart Titan Bubble themselves have created their own solution in this area. And sure, yes, the market is growing rapidly and there “should” be “room for everyone”. But that is not always the case.
So we the peasants will continue to wait to hear from the Open team and eagerly await to see what might they be bringing to the game in 2023 when competition is plenty, other platforms outside of Bubble are gaining traction faster than ever and a global recession looking on the horizon in some places and already arriving in full force in others.
Let’s do it Open, time to regain the title, slay the competition and show them all who the real grand daddy is.
As you know, Rome wasn’t built in a day, so openbuild 2.0 definitely takes more time than expected, but as for the first version, it will bring a lot of new (and proven) innovations in this now (popular) category. As openbuild is the core framework and process we used at Tinkso to deliver more than 100 professional Bubble apps, no doubt that it will bring an enormous value to our (patient) users
Current ETA is to publish the new template in the next two weeks, and the extension product in Early January
The chrome extension seems not working in the last 2 to 3 weeks.
I’ve tried to check some issues in the chrome console, but it just show the open right tab button, the sidebar border and nothing more…
I’ve already installed the chrome extension in a fresh chrome window without other extensions but didn’t solve that.
We’ve decided to discontinue the public version of this extension due to the incredible pace in which Bubble is pushing updates. It simply takes too much effort to keep up so we decided to keep this as an internal tool. Thanks for all the interest, use and feedback!
