@consultingprosperous that’s true. However, Apple is moving forward in being compliant with Progressive Web Apps. As you can see on their roadmap - following the release of iOS 16 - they plan on integrating Web push notifications early 2023 (iOS 16 - New Features - Apple). This is a big step in favor of Web versus native apps.
