Replace by Another Type: API Workflow into Custom Event

Hi guys,

I’m trying to convert Backend API Workflow into a Custom Event by using the “Replace by Another Type” option when right clicking on the API Workflow.

A new custom event is created and all the input fields turn into empty. However, even after re-configuring all existing input fields, I am unable to refer back to them within the workflow.

This only works if I create new input fields for this custom event. Is this intended? If so, why not just removing the input boxes upon replacing the element type, to avoid confusion?

I would contact Bubble support about this one…seems like maybe the response would be that it is expected behavior perhaps if the feature is not intended to replace a schedule API workflow with a custom trigger.

Please report back what support has to say about it…always interested to hear from the horses mouth what is going on.
