Setting a state when repeating group's cell is hovered

Hi All,

Is it possible to set a state when hovering over a repeating group’s cell? In my example below I have a repeating group showing fruit. When the cell is hovered i would like the fruit’s associated image and description to appear in the elements next to the repeating group.

So far I have achieved this by setting a state when the group is clicked.

Use the event “do when condition is true” and set it to be “only when” your needed element is hovered

When I try this method the group inside the repeating group cell isn’t available to select

Hi Matt,

As far as I know this requires a plugin as the currently hovered cell is not accessible from outside the RG. I replied to a very similar situation recently. Hope that helps.

Hey @marius , great question! So, there’s two aspects. I’ve set up a demo here to show you how to do this. It does involve the use of a plugin, to circumvent some Bubble limitations. You need a custom state to track which is the “active task”. That’s simple, I’d suggest adding it on to your repeating group.
