[Showcase] The Messaging Template & The Responsive Base Template by Littlebay

That lifts the bar pretty high for all of us in being so thorough for the users in delivering such well documented product  in a good way, too.
Awesome job @fayewatson!

@vladlarin Thank you so much for the kind words, Vlad!  :sparkles:

Well congrats. Truly slick designs and the responsive is working very nicely, but the level of documentation is 1st class, above and beyond there, nice one .

Isnā€™t this a great piece of Bubble work?

Congrats on releasing such a well documented template. Hopefully you see this translated into nice sales.

Funny how nearly everyone commenting here are hardcore Bubble developers. Itā€™s like we see in your work the flaws of ours :stuck_out_tongue:

Bubble developers as a whole benefit when good things get built. Every janky, incomplete, busted app that gets built with Bubble is ammo for people who want to ā€œproveā€ that no-code solutions arenā€™t great.

Right now, products like this are the exception, not the norm. We need more of this, less of the other.

Totally agree with @copilot and feel the same as @JonL .

Documentation can go a long way in helping clients breakdown down the knowledge barrier.

I found that post purchase support, from feedback, fixes and in depth communication seems a necessity now. Especially as the Bubble eco-system is so varied, detailed and full of depth on many fronts.

@fayewatson thank you for leading the way by example. In your one post, you taught us presentation, video screen grabs and presentable, well read documentation.

For those unfamiliar, @fayewatson has been on the forum for years offering excelling help. Even by reputation alone, I would believe anything @fayewatson creates would be quite excellent. Looking closer only confirms this. Kudos for the really great work!

As well, a shoutout to @wegetdesign and @eddy for ~recently entering the Templates Marketplace with great work as well.

Now that we can see bar has been significantly lifted and that thereā€™s clear appreciation for it, Iā€™m excited to see how other plugin and template developers to follow suit.

@luke2, @JonL , @andrewgassen @wegetdesign, and @dan1 :

I know Iā€™ve said this a bunch in this thread, but I sincerely mean it ā€“ thank you all SO, so much for your incredibly kind words and support! Itā€™s hard for me to believe that itā€™s been almost three years since I first clicked a random Medium article link that introduced me to Bubble. Never in my life did I expect it to not only allow me to build things without code that I would never be able to otherwise, but most of all, to allow me to be part of this community with the kindest and most supportive developers you will find (and thatā€™s still a total understatement). Thank you all SO much again! :sparkles:

(P.S. With everything said in this thread about the importance of documentation, I know itā€™s not the easiest thing to tackle and can become quite a big project quickly. If youā€™re not sure of the best way to approach this or set it up, please donā€™t hesitate to reach out to me anytime. Happy to help in any way that I can!)

So what if weā€™ve already started an app? Is it possible to import it in some way into a new template? This is way better than my current design.

Hi @gnelson  Unfortunately, it canā€™t be easily copied into existing apps currently. I tried a few different ways, but I donā€™t think itā€™s possible without fixing 200+ errors, just because there are so many connected elements and workflows on the messages page.

It might be possible to copy your existing app into a new app made with the template, but of course I wouldnā€™t recommend it if it seemed like that would bring up a ton of errors too. If youā€™d like me to take a look at your existing app to see if it may be possible to copy, feel free to PM me a link and Iā€™ll let you know for sure!

Thanks for the information and offer. I may take you up on that. Iā€™m going to purchase your template regardless so I can see how oneā€™s supposed to look. Lol.

Thank you so much @gnelson! Yes, definitely let me know any time and Iā€™ll see if itā€™s a possibility! Hopefully at some point thereā€™s an easy way to transfer templates into existing apps. In the meantime, if you have any questions at all ā€“ please let me know!

Thank you so much, @sudsy!! :relaxed: :sparkles:

Love these themes, Im interested in the base template but the $79USD is a massive fling in Australian dollars, Not to say itā€™s not worth it, Worth even more just im rather poor :P. Any upcoming specials coming up @fayewatson?

Hi @dylan.b.anderson  Thank you so much for the kind words, and I totally understand. I donā€™t plan on discounting them just because I want to keep the price the same for everyone (so no one purchases it at full price and then just misses a sale, for example), but I completely understand what youā€™re saying and wish I could be more helpful. :slightly_frowning_face: If thereā€™s any other way that I can help please let me know anytime!

Incredible work. The level of detail, and documentation is fantastic. I love seeing great builders push whatā€™s possible with the platform, and this is class A work. Thank you so much for this.

Hey Faye, Oh that completely understandable, Guess iā€™d be pretty pissed if it went cheaper after I paid full price :stuck_out_tongue:. Ill try scrape some dollars together as youā€™ve made something pretty darn great. It was worth an ask
