Stack and transfer data from main site to bubble

Hello everyone !

We are trying to do something but we are not succedding so far, so I thought I’d come here and ask you guys

Our main page has as a CTA a search bar, where lead can enter their address to see close by electricians.

We’d like them to arrive, once they click search, on a page with videos of electricians that are in the area.

Our question : Is it possible to stock and transfer the data of their address from the main page, to the bubble page with videos so we only show the electricians in a radius of that area ?

I really appreciate your time,

Kindly

Hi there, @selimslami… if I understand your post correctly, yes, it is possible to do what you described, and you should look into URL parameters and local storage as potential solutions.

Best…
Mike

Hey,

Thank you so much @mikeloc , that will be a huge help for our team knowing we can do it.
I have a follow up question :

How would you go about making a form with scrolling options like that website ?

Sorry, I don’t know what you mean by scrolling options.

Oh, excuse my french (literally)

Like what you see on quadjobs.com when they ask you to pick the job you want to do (babysitting, housekeeping etc…) by scrolling down ?

That is what I’d like to do on the main page if that makes sense, but i’m not sure bubble can be “embeded” on the main page just like that

I still don’t necessarily know what you mean by scrolling down, but if you are just talking about the dropdown where you select a job, yes, you can have a similar dropdown with Bubble.

If you are having trouble getting something to work, share some screenshots so it will be easier for someone to help. If you are asking general questions because you haven’t started using Bubble yet, I would suggest you work through Bubble’s tutorials to get an idea of what is possible.

The above being said, I am quite certain you can build a site just like the one you linked to… twice.

Thanks for that Mikeloc,

I’ll do some research before posting anything else, it was indeed the dropdown feature that I was talking about.

Thanks for your quick responses anyway, I really appreciate it !

Have a great one
