🎉 Steal my site for FREE

So maybe I’m crazy :man_facepalming: but I’ve just launched a new landing page and I want you to STEAL it for FREE.

What’s some of the cool stuff to steal?

  1. It’s built entirely in the new responsive editor - which is a great case study for anyone learning it
  2. I’ve incorporated this really nice apple inspired bottom nav that animates
  3. There’s a scrolling logo ticker
  4. There’s lots of micro animations that either float on their own or based on hover etc
  5. There’s a pricing table that has a custom monthly/annual toggle that changes the price
  6. There’s an expandable FAQ section
  7. Use the Twitter API to check if someone is a follower

… and so much more. Just take a look.

The catch is you need to be one of my Twitter followers, but other than that you can get access to a view only version of the Bubble editor and look at how I’ve put it all together.

I know I’ll probably regret this and there will be 20 clone sites by tomorrow - which you’re free to do - but the intention here is for people to use this as inspiration / how-to for their own projects vs just copying pixel for pixel what I’ve done.

Why am I doing this?

Bubble is such an awesome product and can produce some really great looking pages that rival products like Webflow. Ok Webflow can go further, but Bubble is actually capable of getting most of the way there but what you get with Bubble is the ease to do so much more beyond animated static pages.

On the other end - people have the impression that having an app on Bubble is like having your website on Wix. Then I show them my work and the penny drops that you can create some pretty cool things on Bubble and it can take you way further than you might have thought.

One of the reasons Bubble isn’t thought of as a landing page builder like Webflow or on the same level as custom code for apps is not a lot of Bubble developers (in my experience) take the time to design good UIs. They throw a bunch of things on a page and call it a day and it works but it’s not built with the user in mind. I’ve yet to pick up a single client project that uses micro animations for example - but it’s SUPER easy to do and makes the whole experience feel slick.

Anyway, Bubble is an awesome platform to build websites as well as apps and I’d love to help the community get better at what they do.

Feedback is welcome. Particularly if you find any improvements you’d make to my app. I’d love to hear them

Josh

Great idea with the support - hope it goes well and takes some work off plugin dev’s plates!

But just a heads up that I am unsure if Bubble will be happy you selling this as a clone (template) outside of their marketplace. Maybe that is why you use the term clone instead of a template, but in this case it is a similar thing except a buyer can only use yours once but a template as many times as they like

Looking forward to chatting soon :grinning:

Thanks @gf_wolfer

Excellent point. I hadn’t thought of that as I hadn’t really intended to sell it as a template it was just an afterthought. I’ve removed the link

Yeaah I think it goes against rules to sell templates outside bubble. They have the right to ban you for life I guess… Not sure.

You’re most welcome. Would love to see what you’ve done with it, so feel free to share a link to the page if it’s public

Oh wow, nicely done!
Is the editor link still available for the public?

Hey @votterskog

It sure is. You can access it here: Steal my site | Support Dept

I don’t think it’s 100% up-to-date. But the key aspects are there, as I haven’t made too many big changes in the last 12 months or so

Cheers,
Josh
