Question, did Bubble recently start putting the StripeCustomerID on private? Why were the people in the two tutorial videos able to access the StripeCustomerID?
Any luck?! Im having the same issue.
No luck yet, I’m hoping to get it solved here. Ultimately, I just want the Customer to have access to the Stripe Customer Portal, if there is a workaround that doesn’t require the Customer ID that would be acceptable.
@anon33759447 , this is not something you are doing wrong, it’s Bubble that’s having issues. I have used this same tutorial and it worked. Bubble is having issues and that’s why you are having issues and so am I at the moment. Hopefully they fix these issues soon…
We need to alert Bubble about this issue otherwise they may not prioritize fixing it.
Does anyone know an alternative method to have customer redirected to Stripe Portal when they click “Manage Subscription” button? It appears I am not able to do this without the customer stripe id.
@anon33759447 Youre still not able to capture the Customer ID? Can you share sceenshots of your workflow where you need to capture the Customer ID. If you like, I can take a look at your app to see what’s going on. Let me know…
Cheers!
Is it working for you now? Was it just a temporary bug?

@anon33759447 The issue we had a few days ago was with Bubble, those issues have been fixed. If you are still having issues not being able to capture Customer ID using the Stripe Plugin, you could be doing something wrong. Post a screenshot of your workflow so we can see where you could potentially be having a problem.
I don’t have any issues capturing Customer ID’s when using the Stripe Plugin.
Cheers!
Thanks Kipme001, and if you are not able to understand these photo’s let me know and I will give you temporary access to my app.

@anon33759447 Looking at your screenshots, It looks like you’re missing a step. See my screenshot below
I’m not sure I understand? Is it because I’m saving details under the User Data type? Are you saying I should create a Subscription datatype and that should solve saving the “Stripe Customer ID”?
Okay, I will try this and come back to you. Thanks
@anon33759447 Sorry, I forgot to mention I am also using a Backend workflow

Just followed the tutorial and I am still getting the same result it’s so strange. DM me your email and I will give viewing access to my editor.
What’s your bubble email? Your email is not registered with Bubble. DM me
I wasn’t able to finish the webhook portion of the tutorial because I believe you need the customer ID first.
