So i’m going to try to explain my problem as best as I can…
I am connecting drivers with patients for lifts to and from appointments.
An admin inputs all details. I have a popup that is adaptive. It can create new trips or edit new ones. The save button will either make a new trip if it is empty, or make changes to the current trip if there is a relevant trip attached to the popup via custom states.
I have two search input fields, one for pickup address and one for dropoff. When saved, both a geographic address data type is saved with the formatted address and a text field with the places name.
However when I pull up up the popup again to edit how do I get these search inputs that are technically geogrphic addresses, to by default show the places name so it again saves as such. At the moment it deafults to the formatted address and so when saved the next time, only the geograohic address is saved and not the places name…
I really hope this makes some sort of sense
