I have custom states set to the top level of of the page, so I look them up typically using the page name. However, as many times this string shows up a number of times on the page, I started to look into using the This Page element in the expression as it allowed me to map fields to it the same way.
When I am updating workflows and trying to pull it up, This page no longer seems to show up. It seems to still work, but I have to return to referencing the state as “page-name” instead. Just seeking clarification as to what is happening here with that variabale reference.
Submit a bug report. It might be connected to a bug I found today where when using the workflow action for when an inputs value is changed, in the past it always provided as the first option of datasource as ‘this input’ but the ‘this input’ is no longer available.
It is not so much a bug, but probably an oversight by engineering when they overhauled the available values to dynamic expressions recently in which they rearranged and tried to better categorize the values. I had seen they made a mistake of adding certain values to the wrong category type as well.
