☁️Wasabi Cloud Storage Plugin

Here you go @ZeroqodeSupport Here are the settings of one instance which had been working without errors on previous versions for quite some time.

Hello @ratsoundsystems,

Thank you for providing the screenshots.

I’d like to clarify if the element you mentioned is currently generating an error? We attempted to recreate the element’s settings on our end, and no errors were encountered.

To further investigate and resolve this issue, it would be helpful if you could add our support@zeroqode.com email address to the list of collaborators for your Bubble app. This will allow us to test the plugin within your app’s environment and identify the potential root cause of the problem. Please grant edit rights and create a separate test page specifically for this use case to avoid interference with your app’s existing functionalities.

It’s worth noting that, as Zeroqode is on an Agency plan, the Bubble plan associated with your application doesn’t affect our ability to collaborate. You may encounter a red warning when adding us, but you can safely ignore it. Simply go to your Bubble app’s Settings → Collaboration to add our email address.

Wishing you a fantastic day ahead :hugs:

OK @ZeroqodeSupport I believe I have correctly added you as a collaborator.
I made a page called zerotest, it has nothing on it but 1 brand new Wasabi element.
It throws an error as soon as I open/load that page.

To add: I had a bit more time to play around with this… If I revert to 1.93.0 the error does not appear, and all is well.
Any version higher than that and the error persists. You will see it on the test page.

Hi @ratsoundsystems,

We have successfully received collaboration access for your app. Currently we get only the error in the next picture which is different from the generate_preview error.

Could you please recreate the usecase for the element to throw the generate_error so we can look into it too?

Thank you so much

Wishing you a good day :hugs:

@ZeroqodeSupport I have a page that throws the generate preview error, but I cannot recreate it on a test page. I am not sure how to best direct you to that particular page.
When I copied this page over to a new page, zerotest3, an error occurs, but then it is the new “initialize” error.
But you can see below the “generate preview” error on a page.

Hello @ratsoundsystems,

I’m delighted to share some good news with you! The two errors you’ve encountered should be resolved in the upcoming update. Although we can’t provide you with an exact release date and time, please rest assured that we will promptly notify you as soon as the update becomes available.

We really appreciate your patience and cooperation throughout this process.

Wishing you an absolutely fantastic day :star2: :hugs:

Hi!

I’ve encountered a weird bug in which a wasabi element would trigger the Uploaded files event correctly when it uploads around 20-30 files. If more than 30-40 files are uploaded, the successful upload files event won’t trigger (hence, the last uploaded files state won’t populate either) even though files were uploaded to wasabi.

Hello @AAL,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

To assist you effectively, could you please provide us with the settings of your element and the configurations you’ve used for the upload action? It would be immensely helpful in diagnosing the issue.

We’ve conducted a successful test where we uploaded precisely 79 files at once to the bucket. During this test, we only observed a minor app freeze.

In order to further investigate and potentially replicate the issue, it would be valuable if you could share the following

  1. The device and software version from which you uploaded the files.
  2. Details regarding your network connection, such as whether it’s connected to high-speed Wi-Fi or mobile data.
  3. Any additional information you believe may be relevant to understanding the problem.

We’re waiting for your response so that we can work together to resolve this matter.

Cheers :hugs:

Hey @ZeroqodeSupport as long as you are going to bang out a revision,
Perhaps you can add a conditional to disable the Wasabi Element from allowing file uploads.

I would like to have a Wasabi instance on a user page so that it can retrieve files, but I do NOT want them to be able to upload a file.
Even if I make Wasabi 1x1 pixels with no background, it still is possible if they get lucky, or know where to look, to click on it, and upload a file.

I have tried it a few times, I cannot seem to disable it.
Thanks

Hello @ratsoundsystems,

Certainly, that’s a valuable suggestion. I’ll make sure to pass this request along to our developers for their review and potential inclusion in upcoming updates. I’ll keep you informed of any developments regarding this matter

Wishing you a fantastic weekend ahead! :hugs:

Hi @ratsoundsystems,

Regrettably, the developers have reviewed this suggestion and have decided not to implement it, deeming it not worth adding to the plugin’s functionality. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, they did suggest that if you overlap the Wasabi element with a group or another element, users should not be able to click on it.

Once more, I extend my apologies for the outcome of this request. If you have any further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us, either here on the forum or by emailing us at support@zeroqode.com.

Wishing you a productive and successful Monday ahead! :star2:

@ratsoundsystems if it’s imperative that users are not able to upload (for some security or pricing reason or whatever), this won’t work because they can just delete the group on the client side. Of course if it’s a UX thing then it should be alright

Hi @georgecollier,

If you’re concerned about security and don’t want users to upload files to the Bucket, you can disable the “Auto Submit” feature. Even if someone removes the group on top of the element, they won’t be able to upload files to the bucket.

I hope this information is helpful!

Cheers! :hugs:

Hi, I purchased the plugin wasabi just recently, I followed your instructions to the point where you say to make the folder public but I dont have the option to make the folders public from the option menu, can you assist?

Hi @lamie74,

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

Could you please clarify where you found the information about setting a folder public in the documentation? We have just checked the documentation, and we couldn’t find any mention of this feature.

Our plugin does have the functionality to upload files as either private or public, but it’s important to ensure that you’re following the correct steps for your specific use case.

Cheers :hugs:

The information about setting a folder public, it’s from the video tutorial that you included with the plugin

Hi @lamie74,

The YouTube video from NoCode Academy may provide helpful insights into using the plugin, but it’s important to note that software and plugins often receive updates and improvements over time. This means that the functionality and user interface of the plugin have changed since the video was created.

To get the most accurate and up-to-date information on how to use the plugin, I recommend referring directly to the official documentation.

Additionally, could you please share with us your usecase, in order for us to suggest you with additional information.

Waiting for your reply :hugs:

The plugin Wasabi cloud Storage / element Wasabi S3 threw the following error: ReferenceError: generate_previews is not defined at eval (PLUGIN_1602732136092x484352338159730700/Wasabi-cloud-Storage-update–Wasabi-S3-.js:3:16305) at https://shift.one.two/package/run_debug_js/5af284d2b458fb273eab0b0a753531e3f1b5f51b7119fd2f389dee2015a612db/xfalse/x27/run_debug.js:530:673 (please report this to the plugin author)

Hello @v.aliquliyev,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

We are aware of this issue, and a new update has been released that should contain a fix for this problem. Could you please update the plugin to version 1.98.0 and let us know if this update resolves the “generate_preview” error?

To update plugins, go to the “Plugins” tab in the Bubble editor, select the relevant plugin, and choose the desired version from the dropdown.

Please provide us with your feedback after updating.

Wishing you a productive Monday :hugs:

Hello. Yes, of course, the first thing I did today was update the plugin to the new version 1.98.0, but unfortunately this did not help me resolve the issue
