What Number of Fields Per Data Type is Comfortable for You?

I feel guilty adding too many fields for one data type. Should I feel this way? Is there a downside to having “a lot” of fields for one data type?

Source of Post: I’m considering adding fields, which would bring the total field count to roughly 100 for one data type.
