XML file via live URL - How to embed on website?

Hi Bubble Forum.
Are there anyone out there that knows how to display the data that lives on this URL on a website?
It is basically an XML file that contains live car stock data for car dealerships.

Here is the link. This link is a demo link and does not represent a particular customer or service provider.
http://www.dealerhub.net/workspace/zaexports/autoslmcustomstockfeed/autoslmcustomstockfeedTesfeed2.xml

The actual link will be a live link and the data gets updated every 4 hours.
The idea is that it is updated automatically on the website as well.

Thank you in advance.

Hey @anton4

Thanks for the post and great question! I’m hoping some of the users in our community who have experience with XML might be able to weigh in on this. Unfortunately I don’t have any direct experience with it.

But, one quick suggestion would be to try to find a parse service of some kind that could scrape / parse that URL into JSON for you. If you could find something like that, you could probably hook it up with our API connector and access the data that way. It’s a round about way to do it, but definitely something worth looking into.

Sorry to not have a more concrete solution for you on this one! Don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly with any additional questions at [email protected]

@anton4 this should be fairly easy with the Bubble API Connector plugin.

Simply make a GET request to the URL and select the Data type of ‘XML’. You’ll then be able to populate a repeating group with this data or whatever you see fit.

Bubble will automatically convert this to JSON which makes it easier to use.

You can either have it fetch it every page load or store it in a data type and have a scheduled workflow check it and update it every four hours.
