Thanks @gilles for provided examples.

But believe as you’ve already noted, all the plugins are “Uploaders” which were written with a feature in mind I assume which can be implemented more straightforward.
While Bubble page to PDF offers a file after the process, it is an exposed state value which is a lil different from a typical file uploaded into bubble.

While the plugin API does not has a standard element propriety to be used and it needs to be written differently , as mentioned we’ve taken into consideration to offer such option however we’ll need to assess the possibility before moving forward.

I’m having trouble generating PDF files. Until yesterday everything worked fine, without any changes being made, the plugin stopped generating the PDF file without presenting any error!
These problems appear on the console when the PDF generation flow is triggered.

If I remove all images of the element that I am generating the PDF, it works. With images it doesn’t work!

Can you double check if you still receive the issue?
Also if you do receive, would kindly provide more details , like steps to reproduce the issue, workflow setup, browser ver., OS etc so we could check this out?

Hi, Finally got the plugin to work.

The element to be converted to PDF must be visible for it to work.

I used a workaround and placed my buttons on the same group tat has the invoice visible.

Hope this helps someone else

@ZeroqodeSupport please i have a quick question. If some fields are hidden due to responsive settings for mobile, Is there a way to still print the full group plus the hidden elements?

Apologies for the late reply :pray:

No, unfortunately, it is not possible. The Bubble page to PDF plugin needs an object/element to be visible on the page load (current page) to convert it to a PDF file. Any other variant is not an option (hidden element or elements from another page), I’m afraid.

One last Thing.

I noticed that the create and upload pdf to DB is not working. I even tested with your demo page. The file is not uploaded to bubble DB.

Hi @levon

Your plugin works well in current environments. However, it does not seem to work with IE (1909 Build 18363.1316) and also with older browsers like Chrome 80.0.3987.106 (32-bit) and Firefox 52.3.0 (32-bit). Unfortunately, no error message appear. The PDF is simply not created and saved in the database.

I went live with my site yesterday. Around 700 users need to enter orders for a project over the next two weeks through this. Accordingly, it is quite urgent. The bad thing is that most users use IE as default browser in an even older version 11.0.9600.19596. Unfortunately I have not checked this until now :frowning:

Can you help me, please?

I tried to use it with an Arabic-content Page
Unfortunately the characters inside my result PDF file were disjointed, which make it an unreadable document.

would you please check PDF language encoding.

P.S: you already include Arabic content text in the demo Page which were encouraging to me to buy the plugins , But as the text was a separated random letters the problem was not noticed.

We have re-checked the reported functionality and there are no issues on our side. Perhaps it was a temporary problem, caused by the server issues (server which converts your PDF files).

Please see the example of a workable PDF file save to the database and sending the saved files via email:

I’d like to inform you that we have fixed the RTL printing issue. Please upgrade your plugin to the latest version (Fixed problem with rendering Arabic alphabet), and give it a try.

P.S.: we have slightly increased the PDF page quality. To see the result, create a test page with the approximate w/h parameters 1200/2600, and set the ConverttoPDF action to something like this: Screenshot by Lightshot

I have an issue: Was working fine until yesterday, i was trying to make the steps again but not work, so my issue is the dynamic data is not showing in the pdf result, the quality is very poor when show the dynamic data and when the dynamic data is not showing the quality is pretty good

thank you for your efforts fixing the issue, I want to upgrade the plugin in order to test the the update, but their are only two options shown for me

re-subscribe and uninstall

how could we upgrade the plugin without being recharged again? as I purchased the plugin by the buy once price

To update the plugin to the latest version, please go to your Plugins tab, find the Page to PDF plugin and see the drop-down Currently installed version, and choose the latest version.

Can you please tell me what plugin version you are using? Have you upgraded to the latest version? If yes, have you experienced the issues before the update?

Can you please record a screen capture and provide the step-by-step flow of your actions to reproduce the case? It will help us investigate your problem and find the best solution. Unfortunately, it is not clear what is the problem and what could be causing it.

You can see this video, the plugin is working fine in the other parts of my app but here not working, i have the last version.
