Changing current page data type to display new profile

Hi guys,

I am trying to set up my app so that I can switch between loaded pet profiles (data types)

One user can have one or multiple pet profiles, in this pet profile view I want to be able to click an arrow and a new pet profile is loaded.

My current journey flow looks something like this:

Select pet profile (push data to the pet profile page of the selected profile)
Then using “current pets profile xxxx” to populate the data.

Any assistance would be highly appreciated.

I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking here…

How to reload the page with a different profile?

Or how to define the ‘next’ profile to show?

Or something else?

I could have been more specific sorry!

Basically, with the current data structure I have in place, what workflow format/path would work best to change “pet profiles”. ie change current pages data source without leaving the page. Let me know if a visual would help.

Many thanks

Hey !

I’m not entirely sure of what you are trying to do, but I think I get the idea !

What you can do is create a Custom State on your page that is a Pet type (or the equivalent).

Then you can set a workflow « When page is loaded » → set state « pet profile:first item »

Then add a workflow on your arrows, that would set custom state to the next profile !

And now, to retrieve the current pet profile, you can set you content type to « pet » and the data source to your custom state’s pet !

And you should be good to go if I understood your case correctly
