Confirmation email is not sending user data

Hi. I am setting up a new user registration form. Once the user registers, they are sent an automatic confirmation email as per bubble’s built-in process. The problem I am having is that user data do not seem to be sent through when the user clicks the email to confirm the account.

To clarify, at its most basic level, once a user clicks the email to confirm the account, the redirect page SHOULD say “Hi <user’s first name>”, but it isn’t reading any of that even though the registration includes these data.

Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

Maybe start by checking your privacy rules.

I’m not sure what you mean? How do I set privacy rules for emails generated by bubble? I would’ve thought the email click-through would automatically log in the new user, but it doesn’t seem to be doing that.

Can you share your workflow?

This part would require proper privacy rules to be setup to ensure the logged in user can view their own data.
