Many of the signup email confirmations I’ve tested with bubble’s email verification go straight to junk email in those accounts.
Does anyone have any tips on deliverability?
I am considering my own account and dedicated IP address with SendGrid to do this myself, is it worth it or is there a way to improve the deliverability of Bubble’s built-in functionality?
We send approximately 5,000 emails a month to subscribers of our service. Will bubble allow this many emails?
Unfortunately, SendGrid recently hiked their subscriptions so if you just want a dedicated IP even with low volumes you need buy the pro. It is really the only way to make sure your sending IP is not blacklisted.
I hope the Bubble team are keeping an eye on this as the price increase for no added value provided from sendgrid is way over the top for a sending IP @emmanuel
It would be good if Bubble had options for default email senders. There are other options such as AWS but can be a complex process.
I would also be interested if anyone has used alternative email services that doesn’t require a phd to implement.
Thanks Steven, I am considering using gmail for transactional emails as I think the deliverability will be good. However it probably has limitations such as 500 per day which is not suitable for us. It’s definitely an issue!
