Help linking a repeating group to a group

I have been stuck on this problem for a couple of days now. I am trying to link a post to a repeating group. Essentially like a comment page for each post. So far i have set the app up to allow people to post, but i haven’t figured out how to connect that post to another page made up of a repeating group/make that repeating group show the comments.
How do I set up the data and workflow?

@jaminben84 If you have this all on one page and a post is the current page thing, one approach is:

  • make all comments a list field in post
  • add a slideout group containing RG with search on current page thing’s comments

do mind being more specific. When i do a search for in repeating group it doesn’t provide the option to do a search on current page thing’s comment.
