#How can I upgrade my app to the New Responsive Engine?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a project using Bubble, but I realized that my app editor seems to be using the old responsive engine. For example, I don’t see layout options like “Horizontal scrolling” or “Wrap off” under the Row container settings. Also, many of the new layout features available in the New Responsive Engine are missing.

Is there a way to upgrade my existing app to the New Responsive Engine? Or do I need to rebuild the layout from scratch in a new app?

If there’s an official migration guide or recommended process, I’d really appreciate it if someone could share the link.

If you are on the design tab on a page that is using the old engine, you should see a colored button that says “upgrade to new responsive engine”. I think Bubble tries it’s best to translate your current page design into the modern engine, but it’s far from perfect. It will require a lot of tweaking, but it’s great practice if you are new to Bubble!
