Inspector Evaluator - 'Some Value that Can not Be Displayed'

What is this? Never seen this cryptic message before that doesn’t indicate any reason why the value cannot be displayed.

The data is in the parent group as I am seeing the data properly for every other element that relies on the parent groups data. However, the text element I am inspecting doesn’t show the value it should and the inspector is not giving me any indication as to why ‘some value cannot be displayed’.

Hi @boston85719

I encountered a similar problem a while back. In my case, the data source of parent’s parent group was empty and hence there was nothing to show.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for that. Bubble should really change the description to “Datasource is empty”.

Yes!! That would be so helpful!

I’ve been seeing this a lot lately in the debugger, as have quite a few others by the looks of it - as yet no specific explanation as to what it means or why it shows:

Hey Everyone!

We just pushed out some changes that make the debugger better at describing what exactly the situation is when something looks blank or invalid. In particular, the description for the above situation has changed to displaying (empty) rather than (some value that cannot be displayed).

Please continue to let us know if the debugger values are confusing or misleading!
