Mention feature from tagger plugin not working

Oh. You had no data in the example, and you hadn’t exposed the option to add an attr name. I fixed it works now.

@duke.severn but the username field is supposed to be the name of the users right? thanks

It will search through the “when user selects” and show those values in dropdown. It will display the n’th number of the second list “replace with”. In insta, which I assume you’re building, the when user selects is the username and the “replace with” is the handle. It’s just about how you set up the mentions.

Hi guys! I want to start implementing mentions on my app. However I don’t have a clear understanding of how it works. I know it’s too general but, could you please tell me how I can work it around? I see that @duke.severn is adding the search for what seems to be “Users mentions” here: Mention feature from tagger plugin not working

Is the user supposed to have a field on the database to register every mention? Is it how it works? Again I know is not a concrete question, but Im trying to get the idea of how mentions work. Thanks in advance for your help
