Until Bubble releases a native app builder, I’m interested in what no/low code tools Bubblers have used in combination with their Bubble backend.
I’m specifically interested in opinions on Flutterflow and Draftbit and how you think they compare when it comes to:
- Speed of building out apps
- Gotchas or limitations on what’s possible to build without custom code
- Tight integration with a Bubble backend (especially app performance and reliability)
- Analytics (feels like everything in Bubble requires setup for tracking user actions/behavior)
The last thing you want to do is to use Bubble as a backend. It’s going to be extremely costly.
If you have opinions on alternatives, I’m open to hearing what they are. For my current needs and immediate plans, Bubble’s backend works extremely well.
I’ll just regurgitate popular options. Supabase and Xano. Though that’s mostly Bubble as a frontend and those as a backend. I am sure there are popular backend options for the frontend of your choice.
The way WU works right now is going to cost you exponentially more if you choose to use Bubble as a backend.
