Hi there! There seems to be a bug with this feature. I try uploading a file, and it seems like it’s uploading but then it doesn’t appear/show up after you click “save”.
We’d really appreciate it if it could be fixed asap

Yes, same here - no matter what I put - with or without dot in filename, when I press on SEE it’s always AWS server and not my domain server.
1: in root folder:
2: browser adress when i click on see:
but it should be one from file name: http://www.razmeni.rs/loaderio-249077b3baee65c2804d45df1de66bb7.txt
Any ideas here if I’m doing something wrong?
Thank you!
Hi!
So basically as it currently stands, there’s no way of adding files to the root to a specific folder, so it is impossible to verify the domain to be used for Apple Pay.
Is that right?
I ended up deploying a simple static website on digitalocean, with just a minimal index.html and the verification file in the right directory. Then I temporarily changed the DNS of my domain to point to that static website, got the verification I needed, then switched the DNS back to Bubble and deleted the static website.
Crazy method, but it worked lol
@emmanuel I suppose that access from worker processes or API to the root directory has not been implemented in 4 years? Is there any information whether this functionality will be implemented at least someday?
Thank you
Is it possible to upload files to our Bubble app’s root directory instead of our custom domain? So that would be the cdn.bubble.io address where files are hosted. Thank you!
This may help others - I noticed that I had to upload my root directory files while in the dev editor, and then deploy to live for them to show up on my live site.
So many people want to upload with workflow or API, so many years waiting, but still no sign of any action. Will you please make it happen? @emmanuel
Yes please
@emmanuel any update on how can we upload to root directory from a workflow or external api?
did you found anything to achieve this?
sorry, I did not…, but recalling the reason and background for wanting this feature, it may have been because I wanted to make the URL of the user profile predictable. I have since found a way around this situation. @abid
