Ownership Transfer Issue - HELP!

Hey all,

I have already logged a bug but am hopping someone may have a clever way of fixing this so that I do not have to wait for Bubble Support to fix this.

I was supposed to transfer ownership of an app to its new owner today but the system will not let me do it because it says that I am still a paying customer. I have downgraded to free but it keeps saying that the subscription I currently have will run until Jan 22. The problem is that I need to transfer ownership TODAY.

I have reinstated and downgraded several times, taken the domain away nothing seems to work. There seems to be no way to downgrade immediately. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to do that?.

Note that in the first image below it does not give you an option to cancel immediately. Is there somewhere else that one can do this, or is this a new “feature” that someone cleverly added without thinking through the implications?




I started doing this process once too and gave up because I found it completely confusing and unnecessary…

All you had to do was to display a screen to the new owner informing about the costs of the application, installed plugins (and their associated costs) and asking the new owner to provide a valid credit card to make the transfer and guarantee recurring payments. It seems simple to me.

I contacted Bubble and they downgraded the account for me.
Not as smooth a transfer as I would have liked but we got there.

Bubble just downgraded the account for me so was able to effect the transfer. I am confused about what you are suggesting. Would I have to start out with a new bubble account for each app so that I could transfer the entire account over to the client?
