I am building an application that is exclusively for controlling my “Smart” Reptile Vivariums. I am using Arduino IDE to program the micro processor that controls the components attached to the Viv. The processor has built in wifi which I can run as an access point via “web server” IP address or via MQTT. I would like my customers to easily connect their new enclosure to their home WiFi network and have access to various sensors data and remote switches. Based on the research I have done their are MANY different ways I can accomplish this, but I am not a very experienced programmer so I lack the experience to choose the best option for my apps API integrations. It would be ideal for my customers who have Alexa or Google assistant to have access to such integrations as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Much love!
