Hi , I have 25 issues and all of them is when I go to Page and Using URL
Paramater, and it’s asking to fill -data to send- , but the website just work fine and I dont want data to send , because it’s make me to change a lot of thing
is there anything to do skip this , or I have to fill it
Hi there, @josemazin77… if you have a type of content defined for a page, Bubble will flag it as an error if you don’t send data to the page when you navigate to it. So, if you don’t want/need to send data to a page, get rid of the type of content for the page, and the errors should go away.
I’m not sure what that means, but it is likely not what related to what I mentioned. Access the properties editor for the page itself, and clear the Type of content field that I highlighted in my screenshot.
As long as you understand the concept of what it means to have a type of content set for a page, then you should be able to figure it out. If you have a type of content set, you have to send data of that type to the page when you navigate to it.
From the screenshot in one of your other replies, you are trying to send a user to the page, but you have the type of content for the page set to text. If you want the type of content for the page to be text, try sending the parent group’s User’s name or something else that is a text value.
Some page I want to send - Parent group user - , and some I don’t want to send anything at all , but I have to fill the " data to send "
So I put on everything else - parentgroup user - event if it’s not related to a user
For pages to which you want to send the parent group’s user, the type of content of the page needs to be User. For pages to which you don’t want to send anything at all, don’t set a type of content for the page. I really don’t know how else to say it.
If it helps, I pretty much never set a type of content for a page because it can cause what I view as unnecessary complications (again, as you are seeing). There are other ways to send data to a page or just set the data on the page itself when the page is loaded and skip the whole type-of-content thing altogether.
yeah I just learned this from you , I’ll do it in future
anyway I test the platform now and it’s work just fine and nothing effect on the platform , should I take this as a good sign , or something may show up suddenly
I don’t know the details of your app, so there is no way for me to know if something is going to suddenly show up. That being said, I would generally think it’s a good sign that it’s working just fine.
