Unable to hide group in navbar for some reason

Hi everyone,

would appreciate some help here. I am following the tutorial of how to make a recipe book on youtube by bubble. After creating the NavBar and getting the system to not show “login and sign up” button after logging in through conditionals, i now want to hide the 2 buttons as i am editing on the index page.

However, even if i choose the “hide” option on the elements, the group still remains unhidden after i switch the page over to index.

I have tried to play around with a few things and it still doesn’t work, that includes:

  1. grouping the groups together and hide it
  2. taking the elements out of the main group and hide it
  3. ungroup the element and hide it
