  • Two more actions have been added to the Plugin : Show Toolbar and Hide Toolbar. You may now manually display or hide the toolbar.
  • Another small improvement is that the “+” icon from the Toolbar is now hidden when the user is not currently hovering the EditorJS element.

  • New Tool added : Text Variant. This allows you to put some blocks in “callout”, “details” or “citation” format. You can take a look at the screenshot below. The red shape is a paragraph formatted as a callout.

why not allow users to store the input as plain text like other editors? it also makes it easier to show the text using a text element and apply standard styling to it
